Donate Programs and services offered by Mary Erickson Community Housing are dependent upon the generosity of individuals, businesses, community organizations, grants and foundations. Include MECH in your annual donations Encourage organizations to which you belong to become corporate sponsors or include MECH in their annual giving Provide in-kind donations Include MECH in your estate planning   Volunteer All members of the Board of Directors of MECH and Committee Members are volunteers. We welcome you to share your time and talents. Join a Committee Volunteer your time for a special event Share your expertise for our Life Skills program   City Housing Advocacy Committees City Housing Advocacy Committees operate as an adjunct to the Mary Erickson Community Housing Corporation. Membership is open to all interested residents, and others concerned with a particular city. Low-income residents are especially encouraged to participate, in fact, are essential to its viability. The role of the committee is as follows: To learn about the needs and strategies for retaining, improving and increasing the supply of low income rental housing To educate the community, including residents, city officials and staff, and to serve as advocates for low-income housing To provide information to MECH on local needs/opportunities including sites, potential support and constraints, and funding possibilities Join our Speakers Bureau to educate members of civic organizations   Join Partners for Housing Partners for Housing is an affiliate group working to raise funds to provide solutions to the current affordable housing crisis.
